Based in the U.K., Stuart Pickles held senior finance positions for 25 years with Foster’s, Kraft, and Unilever. While CFO at Foster’s, he implemented an approach to personal coaching which transformed the company’s performance culture, doubled its bottom-line profit, and lead to the highest employee engagement scores in the business, globally.
A qualified accountant with a Cambridge law degree, NLP accreditation, and over a decade of coaching experience, Stuart’s approach is powered by strong business and financial acumen coupled with a commitment to increased personal and professional awareness. Stuart has coached leaders through mergers and acquisitions, transformation, and other innovation projects across a wide variety of sectors in Europe, the Middle East, and Far East. Clients include: Astra Zeneca, British Telecom, Daimler Benz, EDF Energy, HSBC, P&G, RBS, and Vodafone. He also works with leaders in private equity, VC start-ups, law firms, schools, colleges, NGOs, and local government. He is also global coordinator of the Climate Coaching Alliance, a global membership of approx. 3500+ coaches. In all his engagements, Stuart supports diverse voices and seeks to maximize inclusion.
Stuart’s approach maintains a focus on sustainability for the individual, the organization, and the planet. Together, he and Melanie Katzman have worked on large multinational cultural and change initiatives for companies such as AIG, Barclays Bank, Mizuho, and PwC. Stuart has lived and worked overseas for eight years (Australia, Asia, and Japan) and is fluent in Japanese. The father of four, he enjoys ocean swimming, cycling, and yoga, as well as choral and folk singing.
